Belair Le Camping, Champagnac-de-Bélair

This fabulous glamping site is located 6km from the wonderful town of Brantôme in the North of Dordogne, with its fabulous Benedictine abbey and canoeing on the River Dronne. It’s also close to Perigeaux which has a wonderful cathedral and quaint little streets lined with gorgeous shops.

The campsite is set in 4 acres of French countryside, and has 6 Belle tents for hire, fully equipped with bedding, kitchen facilities, a barbeque and even inflatable hot tub!

Families are well catered for with table tennis, a woodland trail, a pool table, giant Jenga and a cinema in the indoor lounge! There’s also a communal fire pit to socialise with other campers if you wish. If getting back to nature is more your thing, visit the woodland chill out zone with hammocks.

Camping La Ferme de Perdigat, Limeuil

Camping La Ferme de Perdigat is in the town of Limeuil, which in our opinion has the best marche nocturne (night market) in the region!

This four-star campsite on the banks of the Vézère River, is also close to the Vallée de l’Homme with its historic archaeological sites, and features plenty of space on 10ha, perfect for kids to run around.

The fabulous facilities include a heated pool, restaurant, grocery store, farm animals, laundry, canoeing, playground, and a fishing pond!

Accommodation options at this campsite include mobile homes and canvas cottages which are lovely safari-style tents, fully-equipped with everything you need for a great family holiday.

Camping le Clou, Coux-et-Bigaroque

Camping le Clou is a gorgeous campsite around 20km from Sarlat Dordogne. It’s a very family-friendly camp, with the highlight being the amazing pool complex.

The campsite is set on park-like grounds with 120 camp spaces. It’s possible to rent a fully-equipped safari type tent or stay in one of the immaculate chalets which sleep up to 7 people. This is the perfect place to try camping in Dordogne France.

One of the top 5 star camping sites in the Dordogne is absolute heaven for a family holiday – in fact it was voted runner-up best family camping site in Europe!

It’s situated in the grounds of an old chateau and has a full aqua park with 4 swimming pools, water slides, a lake, and loads of sporting facilities including tennis, mini golf, boules, volleyball, and table tennis.
