We’ve just had a great couple of days in London, catching up with friends mostly.
After arriving at the crack of dawn on Friday we headed to Hyde Park to blow away the cobwebs and met a little squirrel friend.
In the afternoon we went and spent some time with Kate, Jake and Stella. Jake has amazing hand/ball co-ordination skills & has the option of playing for England, Australia or NZ – whoever is the highest bidder maybe? We also caught up with Mark briefly before we crashed after nearly 48 hours awake.
Feet planted, ball behind the head and throwing upwards into the field – perfect form that needs to be replicated by some of the Eastern Suburbs players (Dave you know I’m talking about you!)
On Saturday we headed to Borough Market and salivated over all the yummy food on offer.
And went for a lovely walk along the river, a quick look at the Tate Modern, followed by catch up drinks with some friends. All very civilised!
No we haven’t arrived in Sth America yet! This amazing image was on the side of the Tate Modern building.
