After much deliberation, naval gazing, and coming up with 85 variations on a potential route, we are going on another trip surprise surprise.

We are both lucky enough to be able to take 3 and a bit months off work, and with a very long list of places in the world we wanted to visit, it took a bit of narrowing down.

So taking into account world weather, airline schedules and budget this is the rough plan of what we’ve come up with:

Late June – Fly to London. Visit friends and go to the Radiohead concert in Manchester (yay!)

July – A few weeks swanning around France, Italy and briefly Germany.  Fly Condor Air (ever heard of them?!) to Salvador in Brazil, Rio, Igazu Falls and into Argentina.

August – Buenos Aires, Bariloche, Mendoza, Salta.  Cross into Bolivia for a Salar de Uyuni trip, Sucre and La Paz for a mountain bike down the World’s Most Dangerous Road (Ky’s idea)

September – Cross Lake Titicaca into Peru, head to Cusco and trek the Inca Trail to Machu Piccu.  Do a trip in the Amazon, then fly to Lima.  Fly from Lima to the US briefly before flying to Delhi, India

October – Spend some time in Northern India before flying to Thailand for a beach chill-out and back home to good old NZ.

Bit of a round about weird way of doing it, but that’s par for the course when you’ve got the Gibbo Travel Agency working overtime trying to come up with a way around the world for the cheapest $$.

So lets see if we stick to the plan!
